Popular meeting spot for Sunday breakfast, but it's nice any time--especially Tuesday and Friday, when the nearby Turkish market takes place. In the warmer months, tables are placed on a large terrace overlooking a canal.

Housed in an old villa, this is a very popular cafe in the Viennese coffeehouse mold. Try the apfelstrude with warm vanilla sauce. Branches are sprouting up all over the city, but this location is the original--and the nicest.

It's very strange, but you'll find people here from alternative wannabees to extreme goths.... gothic/industrial/metal/strange dark stuff. Fantastic classic goth/ind atmosphere attended by the truly devoted.

The DJs actually encourage requests--and actually play them. Lovely dancers and a wide cross section of the best new and old make it well worth your time.
