Held in August, this is a guided, natural history float trip in inflatable wafts led by a Durham native, naturalist "Riverdave" and partner "Riojosie." The daylight trip focuses on the natural beauty and biodiversity of the Eno River. Moonlight and starlight trips take the form of a neo-primitive journey, allowing you to explore your intuitive connection with the moon, stars and the night environment. According to their website, "Wafting requires two hours of relaxed paddling in tandem boats on a tranquil section of the river. No previous experience is required. Equipment, including PFDs, is provided for all ages to participate safely."
