"Good Luck is my old standby bar. The interior is so old school and the bartender are super cute! I usually have one of their yummy martinis and it never disappoints! Only drawback to an otherwise flawless place is sometimes the cocktail waitresses are inexperienced and super slow."

"Good Luck Club has a fun retro vibe and is located in indie enclave silverlake, which means you meet all kinds of interesting people in here. "Needing to pass the time, we stumbled into the small, dimly lit bar and discovered one of the best bars in Los Angeles, The Liquid Kitty.

"No need to worry about dress codes here. This casual setting is the perfect place for friends to hang out before dinner or after. The drinks (cocktails) are fantastic and they don't go cheap on the booze either.

"DJ's spinning their tunes adds some groove to the already hip environment. Just look for the neon martini glass, but don't blink or else you'll miss it!"

"If you love to dance, this is the most active spot around the city!...But adds, "Rage is an interesting combination of gender-bender people plus the people who enjoy watching the shenanigans. The several dance floors have disco balls, jumbotrons and ear-bleed sound systems.

"All the glass windows open onto Santa Monica Blvd where there are cafe tables for drinking and catching your breath. The people (regulars) welcome all genders, but be prepared to see some gay blades and bladettes. If you are homophobic, this is NOT the right dance club." So you've been warned.

C & O Trattoria bills itself as being "one of LA's premier Northern Italian eateries since opening in 1969," a statement few would deny. A Venice Beach landmark, it serves freshly prepared Northern Italian cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily in a friendly and relaxed garden setting. The food portions are generous, but the cost won't break the budget. Sing-a-longs are a nightly tradition on these premises.

The dress is casual, but reservations are recommended, so remember that if you're planning a romantic dinner for two at C & O. Said to be one of the more romantic locations around by the way, providing a wonderful ambiance and outdoor seating. Private rooms are also available for those special times.
