Relationship Status? Trust Your Instincts

Both of these - love & passion can also blind you to your natural instincts of whether "True" is "True" or if it is just a figment of your imagination.

There are obvious stages to a relationship and how it builds but there is no denying that the "first stage" is the most intense, passionate, lustful and infatuating stage of all. This stage of seduction gives us tunnel vision to the rest of the world because our ego is replete with attention, compliments and stroking.


BITTER ME

This tome on following your instincts follows a recent episode in my life. The writers here at Seduction Insider like me or Grant Day or Melissa Balmer are all well versed in the world of dating because we date a lot and we have had many "relationships" in their entirety to draw from. As recently as this weekend I was dating an angel that I would refer to as "Playmate of the Year". POTY is the epitome of the girl next door - blond hair and blue eyes that smile and smother you. I called her POTY because no matter what she had on she looked like a playboy bunny.

During our four weeks together we burned the candle at both ends seeing each other night and day and spending super sexual quality time almost daily. As it progressed I vocalized how important to me HONESTY was and at the pace we were going she should seriously think about "what she wants". She TOLD me what she wants was to date only me and have no contact anymore with other guys because what she has with me is special and real and yada, yada, yada…

What she TOLD me and what she SHOWED me were the difference between paranoia and instinct. The last two weeks of the "ride" I noticed by way of her internet use and how she handled phone calls in my presence that something was "different". Once you feel something is different in your relationship…it is. It may be you it may be her it may be someone else or it maybe her period but rest assured if something is different then "follow your instincts".


First Mistake

Question others before you question yourself! In my situation I addressed the problem or what I thought was the problem with her on two separate occasions. The mistake I made was each time I walked away from the conversation, I was not satisfied. Satisfied is something you must "feel" from your partner when you have any conversation with them is "balance".

You will not always agree with each other on everything but when it comes to mutual agreements…they must always end with balance. Your instincts will tell you if that balance is present or not.

With the POTY I realized the 2nd time I addressed her that I was not satisfied the 1st time and when I finally got to the third round of discussion about her behavior…I knew. I knew that that was no balance from her and that meant "worse case scenario"…deception. She TOLD me she wanted me and SHOWED me she had time and energy for someone else.

It was then that I grew my balls back and confronted her. But now I was not a paranoid jealous lover as she manipulated me into thinking I was. I was a powerful man again with something on my side more powerful than balance…THE TRUTH.

When I was young I used to hear the phrase, "When you are right you will win the fight" whatever those fights may be. Even though I will never know the whole truth of what she did behind my back, I will have the closure of knowing my instincts were real and not paranoid delusions. It is a shame this beautiful princess did what she did because the better half of "US" was phenomenal!

But gentlemen I assure you there are worse women than the POTY out there so when your gut starts turning into a knot because of what you think and "feel" then follow those instincts. Anxiety from a partner feels a lot like "guilt" in your stomach. The reason that is so is because you are feeling their guilt. Even the closest person to you can make you question your instincts.

Before YOU become part of an US make sure you know who YOU are. It will be YOU that will help YOU get through everything. Even after venting to a few close friends about what she was doing, they even told me to "take a leap of faith".

But it is when I did not listen to the POTY, it is when I did not listen to my close friends, it is when I just spent some time alone and listened to my instincts that I busted that Playboy Bunny Bitch for lying, deceiving and manipulating me. I treated her well even in the break up (read "The Best Break Up" here at SI) showing her that she lost a gentleman and a "good guy".

I am not bitter or angry with her at all for what she did, if anything I feel a new found joy for me that is "relief" that I trusted my instincts. When it comes down to it, you came into this world alone and you will go out of it alone so on this trip don't let anyone ever tell you how to drive. Trust your instincts!
